Ashleigh Davis has spent seven years working in some of the area’s most prestigious 5* spas and beauty salons. These experiences helped her to decide exactly what type of beauty business she wanted to run. In May 2019, she opened the doors to Blush Beauty of Mayfield, a salon that offers relaxation, pampering and escapism.
“I knew I wanted to combine the sensory experience and relaxation of a spa with the fresh and friendly feel of a beauty salon”, explains Ashleigh. “Over the years I’ve learnt a lot from my spa and beauty clients – what they love most about professional treatments and how they want to look and feel when they leave. This helped shape my treatment menu, salon environment and customer service. I want people to be comfortable here and leave feeling amazing.”

“I’ve included all of my favourite elements of the industry under one roof,” comments Ashleigh. “From offering a wide variety of nail colours to that spa-like aroma when you walk through the door. Service is extremely important to me – I can’t stand poor customer care. As soon as you open the door you’ll be met with a warm welcome and a cold glass of fizz. When it comes to treatments and products, I only offer the ones that I completely trust to give the best results. I love feeling like I’ve made someone happy with my service – whether it’s a fresh manicure or glowing skin.”

Why Ashleigh loves Mayfield
It’s such a picturesque place to work – and the people here are so friendly. I love going to The Pink Cabbage Produce Co for brunch, while the Middle House is an incredible venue for dinner. I love that it offers locally sourced produce (mostly from Mayfield itself!).
